Leaving home in search of a brighter future is a tale as old as time… but how often do we stop to acknowledge what we’ve really left behind? In her song, “All I’m Missing” Nashville-based singer songwriter Cassidy Dickens reflects on the less-romantic consequences of chasing your dreams.

“Making the choice to move far away from the people and places you know and love is never easy,” Dickens reflects on the song’s inspirations. “You tell yourself all your sacrifices are going to be worth it—and most days they are. But this song is about those in-between moments, when you find yourself feeling vulnerable and questioning whether you’ve really gone down the right path. I think we all feel like that sometimes, no matter how committed you are to your journey.”

Co-written with fellow singer songwriter Jessica Dock and produced by Sean Giovanni at The Record Shop in Nashville, TN, “All I’m Missing” releases March 31, 2023. The single kicks off a collection of new music set to release throughout 2023.
